Welcome New Students!
The Bursar’s Office staff is very pleased to welcome you to the Caltech 2020-2021 Academic Year!
When you arrive at Caltech, a universal identification card (UID) will be issued to you. You may use this UID card to purchase items at the Student Auxiliary Store, Red Door Marketplace, eat in the various dining cafes, wash laundry, charge postage or mail packages at the mail room, run copies at Graphic Resources or the library, etc. These auxiliary charges will then be posted to your Caltech Bursar Account and reflected on your monthly billing statement. Statements will be available online after the 10th of each month. A reminder to view the statement will be sent to your Caltech e-mail.
Tuition is due and payable in full before the first day of class: Fall 9/29/20, Winter 1/04/21 Spring 3/29/21. Auxiliary charges are due and payable monthly by the statement due date. Payments may be made online by logging into access.caltech.edu and selecting the Bursar Billing and Payment CASHNet link. Payments may also be made by check, money order, wire transfer, ACH transfer, or Flywire. Also, you may mail your payments or make them in person, by check, at the Caltech Bursar Office.
Tuition, fees, and room and board will also be charged to this account. The following is the Caltech cost of attendance for the 2020-2021 academic year:

*General Deposit required at first registration. This deposit will be refunded upon departure from Caltech after full payment of all outstanding bills.
