Federal Perkins, Caltech, and Institute Loans
ACS/Xerox Educational Services, LLC. is Caltech’s loan servicing company which we use to administer the billing and other services for the Federal Perkins, Caltech and Institute loan programs. Please use the below links to complete the online loan documentation.
Exit / Entrance Counseling
To complete the Exit or Entrance Interview log in to Financial Counselor and choose Entrance Interview or Exit Interview from the top menu bar. You will need your social security number and date of birth to login.
Promissory Note and Truth in Lending (TILA) Documents
Select this CPS E-sign link and log in to complete your online loan documentation. At this site you will: (a) Complete online authentication, (b) review the Truth in Lending and Self Certification documents, and (c) sign the loan Promissory Note electronically.
You will need your FAFSA pin number for your electronic signature. You will need to disable any pop-up blocker on your computer in order to gain access to the site.
View Your Cumulative Borrowed Statement
Select this Cumulative Borrowed Statement link to review your total borrowed funds to date. You will need your social security number and date of birth to login. Federal regulations require that these amounts be made available to you and reviewed annually. Now you can access this information anytime.
Federal Direct Stafford Subsidized or Unsubsidized Loans
Students with a Federal Direct Stafford Loan, Subsidized or Unsubsidized, log in to the Federal Direct Lending site where you will be able to : (a) Complete online authentication by entering your FAFSA pin, then (b) complete the Entrance Counseling, and finally (c) sign the Promissory Note online.
First-Time Borrowers of Federal Direct Subsidized and Unsubsidized Loans
For first-time Stafford Loan borrowers, there is a 30-day waiting period until disbursement. If you have questions regarding the Federal Direct loan you may contact the Department of Education Direct Loan Servicing Center at (800) 433-3243 or visit their website at http://www.studentaid.ed.gov/sa/.
